While the Channel and Advertisers are worrying over the degrading TRPs of the show Satyamev Jayate and Aamir Khan is happy with response and viewership, iDubba presents another piece of news to its readers that will stamp a big yes to Aamir Khan nonchalant notion towards the term TRP.

The 13-episode season one has already crossed its halfway mark and Aamir is happy with the impact it has created. Thus, he is planning another season for the show which highlights various social issues in each of its episodes.

Aamir said in an interaction with the audience at the Big FM studio:

“The change in the society has been evident. We have received a dream response, having empowered ourselves with knowledge. So many things have happened which has made it difficult for our research team to actually find out the actual impact we have created. We have got positive reviews and believe that India is changing and we have adapted the show understanding how people want this change”

The show has dealt with a number of hard hitting topics and according to the some reports it is hitting hard on general people who are over or under the effect of such topics and some still believe it is yet another Reality show. The show as boasted is making a cut at one’s heart ‘Dil pe lagni chahiye tabhi toh baat banegi’, so Aamir, Team Satyamev Jayate and we wait to see ‘Baat Bani ya nahi’.

We don’t know the extent of impact but surely feel it. People are discussing social issues, are taking a step out of their respective boxes. Team iDubba hopes the show can bring the change it desires.

Aamir said “I have on a personal level come closer through this initiative to our country. People told me the show would be a failure on social issues, but now people from Kashmir to Kanyakumari are associated with this show and want to see change in our society“. He has through his movies touched hearts of millions and now Satyamev Jayate has brought him closer to these hearts, has enable him to touch their lives.

So, why should he miss the chance to make a change, to bring ‘Satya’ to the limelight? Currently the actor is off to shoot for Dhoom 3; while his research team is planning to assess the impact created by season one, look at other issues that need to be addressed and come back post September to plan out a possible season two.
